Needs:

We need teamwork on this project. Redrum is the boss get with her or me for information. We need people to contribute artwork. Video clips to promote the site and the mixtape. Artwork! We need art to add.. I will be hitting youtube, myspace, etc. with entertaining promo videos. The bigger this site gets the better for all of us.

We need producers to do the mixing and mastering and all of that. This mixtape will be pushed hard. The cd insert will have information on how to get at each artist. Plus we will add some sort of comic style action in the booklet. That is doom!

I needed to make a mixtape this year anyway.. so I would rather run with Redrum's idea and do this her way. I know she's got doom. (n_n)

what else do we need? suggestions?

we need DEDICATION!! dont just throw together a verse and a half just to say "chea im on a mixtape" dedicate yourself to that verse or that collab and put ya heart into it, make it better then anything you've ever done before.. ELEVATATION is key.. we cant be suffice with what we have put together in yester-years or yesterday for that matter.. DEDICATE yourself to progression, for this mixtape isnt something just for our families to listen to. NAH, lets make this official ya'll!! For the most part i believe this is a round table mixtape.. we all equals, we all supplying our talent in one form or another, therefor feel free to put your suggestion in the box, great minds think alike but even greater minds know how to make the thoughts better then expectation!! .. sino - for the love of music..

That's what's up. I am down to push this.. I am super excited. Just remember.. Redrum is the boss.. it was her idea.. so get with me, her, or Casino for OKs and suggestions//etcetera. I think that the strongest cats should be the ones on the final cut. We can put the out takes for free download or something.. The mixtape can be sold? I am down to make a fly mixtape.. and cuts I'd say .. should be divvied up by participation. And I'd recommend allowing each artist to sell the mixtape as a digi mixtape for download on their pages and all through the net. Then people can earn their cuts through promotions. Just a suggestion.

Another thing.. I have some talented friends. Off web. And I'm getting them on web for this mixtape. I would like to see a product put out worthy of being called "mixatape of doom".. I will make stickers (I love stickers) ..we'll def make this official.

Submit your ideas for stickers, mixtape art, teeshirts.. I will work on adding dif art into the mixtape package. Mixtape packages are the tits.. and of course downloads are nice too.. and then the individual players can host whatever of your tracks you choose. Any suggestions?

love the stickers idea!! i dig stickers as well.. being that you have the in on s8nola will you be puttin in an ad of some sort promoting the mixtape in the mag? when its time of course.. i have close connects in the mag The Connex List. that i will be contacting for ad's not only for the mixtape but for the site itself. Also any recomends on that track count for the mixtape? With online purchases im thinking including free stickers with orders is a good idea. Im more of an old school kinda guy so i still love c.d's, tho i know the new age is putting c.d's to a close with mp3's now, i still would send cd's out.. but thats me.. just some thoughts at the moment, i will return with more.. but on the reals this group has 14 members and i only see us 3 puttin any type of thought into making this happen.. i want to know where everyone else stands on this mixtape? like i said before, this mix needs dedication and so far i dont see any of that.. kinda disapointed if i say so myself...... -sino

one more thing, i know we all have our own lives, but for a group to have 14 members and 3 or 4 people submitting ideas and adding their input to the project is a VERY WEAK STATISTIC!! we need a sign up sheet to make sure these people are truelly down for this mixtape, those that dont sign in get banned from the group..sorry but i dont take projects lightly, im a be puttin hardwork & time into this and i honestly expect nothing less from anybody participating. ESPECIALLY if there is profit to be made.. SO WAKE THE FUCK UP MEMBERS!!! -sino

Just thinkin of Ideas. Maybe get all the producers to submit a bunch some beats and get a pool of like 40-50 beats to post somewhere online for emcee's to listen too. Then emcee's can get together choose who they want to collab with and choose a beat. It would all have to mixed relatively well though, so people with some skill in mixing vocals may have to step in there. There are some good producers here (KK, Realstyles, Doom, Casino, etc) and great emcee's so we should be able to come up with some good tracks.
